Yes. With LocaFox, you can also handle the legally required reporting of your electronic record-keeping systems to the tax office. We offer this service as an optional add-on for €50 plus VAT per year per branch. Two reports per year are already included.

Yes, LocaFox meets all legal requirements in Germany, including GoBD, KassenSichV, and the TSE requirement (technical security device). This ensures that your transactions are legally compliant and audit-ready.
Both solutions use the proven LocaFox self-checkout software. The main difference lies in the hardware: The Premium Self-Checkout features a high-quality, fully integrated, and exceptionally rugged housing. The SCO Lite, on the other hand, relies on a modular design consisting of individual components.
No. You won't have to make any significant compromises when it comes to the core self-checkout features. The main differences between the two versions lie in their construction, hardware protection, and the design of the checkout system.
Yes. By default, the LocaFox self-checkout system can be used for cashless payments with debit and credit cards as well as contactless payment methods. Optionally, the solution can be combined with a cash recycler. This allows customers to pay with cash on their own and receive change.
In general, the SCO Lite can be used for self-service concepts. However, whether the solution is suitable for fully unstaffed operations depends on the overall store concept—for example, access control, theft protection, and other security measures.

Yes. Especially in farm stands and smaller self-service retail spaces, the SCO Lite can be an attractive option for allowing customers to shop on their own while reducing staffing needs at the register.
Depending on the configuration, products can be scanned not only with a scanner but also selected directly on the SCO Lite’s interface. This is helpful, for example, with fruits, vegetables, baked goods, or other items that do not have a traditional barcode.
Yes. Depending on your location and sales strategy, you can also set up multiple self-checkout stations. We’d be happy to advise you on which configuration works best for your space.
This depends, among other things, on customer traffic, the location, operating hours, and the requirements for durability and security. For locations with consistently high foot traffic, we often recommend the LocaFox Self-Checkout Premium. For more compact and cost-sensitive scenarios, the SCO Lite may be the right alternative.
The receipt contains a signature in the form of a QR code that contains all the information about the technical security device (TSE).
