LocaFox began its success story in 2013 as a small start-up company in Berlin, focusing on a local shopping platform.

In 2016, we underwent a strategic realignment: as a manufacturer in the checkout market, we specialized in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and developed the innovative LocaFox checkout software.

In 2020, our company became part of the renowned ANKER Group, which enabled us to integrate the ANKER Group's 140 years of expertise in the point of sale sector alongside our own POS software. This includes, in particular, the provision of suitable checkout hardware for your business. Today, LocaFox stands for continuous innovation and progress as one of Germany's leading digital POS providers. As part of the ongoing digitalization and shaping the future of the point of sale (POS), we have proudly offered a self-checkout (SCO) since 2022 as a pioneer in the field of cloud-based POS systems.
