Dizzeria47 is all about a clear concept: high-quality spelt pizza, personalized service, and a focus on the essentials. Owner Abdullah “Apo” Akkurt brings over 16 years of experience in the restaurant industry to the table—and has deliberately chosen to carve out his own path with his own pizzeria. In day-to-day operations, this means: a close connection with guests, artisanal quality, and processes that simply work. This also includes a point-of-sale system that is straightforward and supports operations rather than slowing them down.

Sometimes the best ideas come from a desire to do things differently on purpose. That’s exactly the case with Dizzeria47. Here, it’s not about quantity, but about quality. Not about hustle and bustle, but about a personal touch. And not about complicated processes, but about solutions that make everyday life easier.
Abdullah “Apo” Akkurt brings a wealth of experience to the table: he has worked in the restaurant industry for over 16 years—as a baker, butcher, and head chef. But for a long time, one thing was missing: the space to bring his own ideas to life.
With the opening of Dizzeria47, he has fulfilled that dream. His guiding principle is clear: “I want to earn my customers’ trust first—the money will come later.”
The name is no coincidence. “Dizzeria” instead of “Pizzeria” refers to the special dough made from spelt flour, while the number 47 refers to Apo’s hometown of Mardin in Turkey. Together, they create a concept that is personal—and memorable.
The dough is the heart of every pizza. Apo deliberately chose spelt flour: for its taste, for its quality—and because he wants to clearly set himself apart from other pizzerias. The feedback from his guests confirms his choice: the pizza is especially crispy, the flavor is outstanding, and many come back regularly.
What also sets Dizzeria47 apart is its direct interaction with guests. The open kitchen invites guests to watch, conversations happen naturally, and sometimes children are even allowed to help with the preparation. For Apo, cooking isn’t just a job—it’s a passion—and you can really feel that.
As personal as the concept is, the day-to-day requirements are just as clear. In a small pizzeria, every minute counts. Apo didn’t want to be bogged down by technology; he wanted to focus on his guests and the cooking.
A POS system should therefore be one thing above all else: straightforward.
Since Apo had worked in the kitchen for years without regularly dealing with point-of-sale systems, it quickly became clear that the POS system shouldn’t be an additional source of stress—neither for him nor for his staff.
While searching for the right solution, Apo came across LocaFox online. He was won over right from the first contact: friendly, open, and on equal footing. Since the opening of his pizzeria was just around the corner, everything had to happen quickly—and that’s exactly how it went.
The LocaFox ONE was delivered on short notice and set up on site. Even though much of it is self-explanatory, Apo was glad to have in-person support at the start. Today, he says quite clearly: His concerns were unfounded—the register is easy and intuitive to use in everyday operations.
Day-to-day operations reveal what really matters:

Apo particularly appreciates practical features like the ability to create gift certificates. Custom gift certificates can be sold, printed, and creatively packaged right at the register—a small detail with a big impact.
Apo also offers flexibility when it comes to receipt issuance: If you don’t want a receipt, you save paper. If you need one, we’ll of course print it out for you.
When questions do come up in his day-to-day work, Apo really appreciates LocaFox’s service. Having a dedicated point of contact, quick responses, and practical solutions give him peace of mind—especially when it comes to issues that have nothing to do with pizza but everything to do with organization.
For Apo, what matters isn't how he's helped, but that he's helped. This sense of being in good hands allows him to focus entirely on his business.
Dizzeria47 clearly demonstrates that modern point-of-sale systems aren’t just for large restaurants. Smaller establishments, in particular, benefit from solutions that take a back seat and put people first.
Or, as Apo puts it:
“Simple, fast, and friendly staff.”
And when you ask him why it had to be pizza, he answers with a smile:
“Everyone needs love—and a good pizza.”
For concepts like Dizzeria47, one thing matters above all else: that everything runs smoothly. That’s exactly where LocaFox comes in—as a point-of-sale system that simply works, is easy to learn, and doesn’t make day-to-day operations any more complicated than necessary.
This leaves more time for what really matters—great conversations, genuine hospitality, and a truly delicious pizza.
